TIM WILKIME

Tim is a good Midwestern boy who grew up in Illinois, making movies on his parents’ Betamax camera. After college, he headed west to start directing comedy for CollegeHumor, Adam Ruins Everything, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Eventually, he made his way east to NYC, continuing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, before moving two floors up at 30 Rock to join Saturday Night Live. Now in his fourth season on SNL, Tim has directed countless viral shorts, including “Bowen’s Straight,” “Tampon Farm,” “Black Lotus,” and dozens of Please Don’t Destroy’s videos.

Tim’s love for comedy knows no bounds—or mediums—as he also directs short films and commercials. Milton, one of his shorts, won the SXSW Vimeo Staff Pick Award in 2019, and his commercial work includes spots for Allstate, Adobe, Capital One, State Farm, T-Mobile, and Pop-Tarts. He has his eye on making features next—just as soon as he dusts off that old Betamax camera.
